VW Canada – Big In Berlin

· | 2018

If you missed us at the recent Berlin Klassik Euro Car show, it was quite the spectacle. Held at the picturesque Guelph Lake Conservation Area, the two-day event featured new and classic cars from Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and other European automakers. Much more than “just another car show,” the Berlin Klassik is a fan favourite for classic car enthusiasts.

For us, the show also marked the end of a busy summer show season—a time when we get to meet the many Dub club fans and VW lovers across Ontario and beyond. To show our thanks, we gave away an assortment of VW branded swag.

But the real prize was getting to see so many classic VWs up close, including vintage versions of the Rabbit, Jetta, Camper vans and Beetle.

Of course, the Berlin Klassik is more than just a showcase of classic cars. We were kept busy all weekend with fans taking our newest models out for test drives, including the Jetta, Tiguan Golf R and Alltrack, Atlas and the not-yet-released Arteon.

“It’s pretty special to see our fans come together, and to celebrate VW past and present,” says Daniel Weissland, VW Canada president and CEO. “Fan events are a testament to what we do, and a reminder that at Volkswagen, it’s always about the driver.”

So, as the summer car show season comes to a close, we just want to say thank you to our fans. We love you, too!
